If you have any questions feel free to e-mail me, but just to help I have provided some quick answers to frequent questions I am asked...
How will I get my website online?
Firstly you will need to buy the domain name get some website hosting; you can click the advertisement link at the bottom of the page if you don’t know where to get it. (This comes with a free domain name)
If you are unfamiliar with using an FTP client/program to upload your files onto web then you could give me the details and I would be able to upload the design straight to the web and it would then be live.
What is the difference between the HTML site and a Flash site?
The HTML is a static site that will have all the images and content that your site needs. The content is easily managed if there will be a lot of changes or text will need adding regularly.
With Flash elements it adds a bit of animation to your site if you are after something more visually exciting.
It all comes down to what you are trying to achieve with the website and what sort of content you will need on your site.
What about printing?
My initial prices are for the designs only, you would have to arrange for the designs to be taken to an independent printer.
I will supply the final artwork to the specifications of the printers that you choose.
How long will my design files be kept
All the files of the design work done for you are kept for 12 months after the last bit of design work I have done for you.
If for some reason you lose the designs I will send them out to you free by e-mail or for £5 if you want them to be sent on a cd/dvd
How much do you charge?
On the majority of projects I make a quote based on what is required in the project and provide a fixed price upfront, rather than billing at an hourly rate.
Each client is different and the pricing will be discussed with you
Who will own the copyright to my design?
Once full payment has been received, the exclusive copyright will automatically be passed to you. However I retain the right to display the design in my portfolios and for promotional purposes both online and offline
